USC Moore School remains tops for international business

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina is being recognized for having the nation’s top undergraduate international business program, according to rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s 2013 “America’s Best Colleges Guide.”
USC also earned accolades for its student-enrichment programs, including its first-year seminar, undergraduate research and academically themed residential communities, at a time when the university saw a rise in its student academic profile.
Across the USC system, USC Aiken is No. 1 among public regional colleges in the South. USC Upstate moved up one spot to No. 2, and USC Beaufort held at No. 8.
In addition to earning the No. 1 international business ranking for the 16th consecutive year, the Darla Moore School of Business broke into the top 40 for overall business education, moving up a spot from 41 last year. The school’s undergraduate insurance program is ranked No. 9, moving up a spot and listed among the top 10 programs for a third consecutive year.
